Compact 230V RCD Tester for Trip Time and Trip Current Checks

The UNI-T UT582+ Digital RCD (ELCB) Tester is a compact single phase RCD tester that checks whether a residual current device (also called an ELCB or RCCB) trips when it should. It measures trip time at ×½, ×1 and ×5 test currents, and its Auto Ramp mode shows trip current and trip time together. It suits Sri Lanka's 230V/50Hz single-phase supply. Select a rated current of 10, 20, 30, 100, 300 or 500 mA to match the label on the RCD, so it works as a 30 mA RCD tester for typical residential protection as well as higher ratings. You can start the test at 0° or 180°, and the LCD wiring check warns you about missing power, poor earthing, a disconnected neutral or reversed live and neutral before you test. Every unit ships with the manufacturer's calibration certificate, batteries included and a one-year warranty.

Which RCD Tester Should You Choose?

The UT582+ is designed for single-phase 195~253V circuits only. For three-phase systems, choose the UNI-T UT586+ 3 phase RCD tester. Check that the plug on the supplied test lead suits your sockets before ordering.
