The BSIDE FWT11 Multi-Function Wire Tracker is an affordable FWT11 wire tracker that finds the target cable in a bundle, checks RJ45 network cables for wiring faults and tests telephone lines. Connect the emitter to one end of the cable, then scan the other end with the receiver probe at the patch panel, distribution box or switch. The cable with the loudest tone is your target, and you don't need to open the cable cover. Other metal wires can be traced through the clip adapter cable. A rotary knob on the emitter selects four modes:

• Network: Works as an RJ45 RJ11 cable tester. LEDs 1–8 and G on the emitter and receiver reveal open circuits, shorts, miswires and reversed connections.
• TONE: Works as a telephone line tester. It shows whether a line is idle, ringing or off-hook, identifies TIP and RING, and indicates line level and polarity.
• CONT: Checks wire continuity.
• SCAN: Sends the tracing signal for the receiver probe.

The tracing signal reaches about 300 m. The FWT11 is designed for low-voltage cables only. Do not connect it to high-voltage circuits such as 220V mains, and disconnect cables from PoE switches and other powered equipment before testing. It does not measure cable length or detect PoE.
