Important Safety Information

The UNI-T UT892 is designed for high-voltage measurement, but users must follow the operating instructions and all applicable electrical safety procedures. Do not exceed the specified voltage rating of the selected input terminal, test leads, or connected accessories.

The meter's stated safety rating is CAT II 1000V / CAT III 600V. The 2000V measurement function does not mean that every input terminal, accessory, electrical environment, or installation category is rated for 2000V. Use only suitable, correctly rated test leads and accessories, and do not use a standard high-voltage multimeter probe unless its attenuation ratio, input impedance, insulation, and voltage rating are compatible with the meter.
