Unlike the entry-level UT306A with fixed emissivity, the UT306S allows users to dial in the correct emissivity value for metals, painted surfaces, plastics, and other non-blackbody materials — ensuring measurement accuracy regardless of surface type. With MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF data modes and a configurable high alarm, it provides a reliable, versatile solution for maintenance technicians and quality engineers.
